How I Learned Spanish in 3 Months - You Can Too!

This is how I learnt Spanish in under 3 months and I speak more fluently than ever before. Some months back I was going to Spain with my Friends. None of them knew Spanish and neither did I. We came to the conclusion that we all needed to learn, we started with the tapes and books listening to the tapes in our sleep you catch my drift.

Sounded like a good idea, until 1 week later, I didn't seem to be getting anywhere and I really wanted to start speaking Spanish and then maybe fluent Spanish, so I could talk to the locals, which would be an experience. I had 4 months left before I had to go away, and I wanted to learn fluent before then.

Now, I knew some Spanish from high school. Hola Senorita! Was it, and I bet it's anyone else remembers either. So I started searching all over the internet for a source where I could learn fluent Spanish. I came across the idea of a tutor, so I looked it up. One little problem, Tutors to be, well, expensive, and me saving up for the holiday I couldn't afford to spend much more at the time.

I went back to the internet there had to be something out there. I mean that's what the internet is for after all! About 3 weeks into it and I felt like giving up. It dawned on me, how was I going to learn Spanish in a little over 3 months? I decided to spend one last day searching and then if I didn't find anything forget about it, and go back to the phrase book. Though there was an upside, I was going to Spain after all! Can't argue with that. The last day of my search and something popped up.

It claimed that I could learn Spanish in less than 3 months. Any I don't know what it was, either desperation or curious but I continued read further and further down the page. Once again, the page promised me that I would speak Spanish in 3 months if I took the course. But as quickly as my excitement came, it dawned on me again. As I sat there at my computer, looking at quite possibly one of the only things that could help me, a terrible thought came to mind. Money! If private tutors were that expensive, this would have to be way dearer. But to my surprise it wasn't, it was a fantastic price that I was chuffed with and ended up buying it.

I studied listened, studied and listened some more. I even played games that you get so it makes learning fun! I was able to learn Spanish in 3 months. I was able to go to Spain and speak and understand almost every word that was thrown at me! And when I didn't, at least I knew how I could simply ask them in Spanish to tell me what they meant! In the end, Spain was tons of fun. I made friends that I would have never been able to make had I not known Spanish. My friends still used the phrase book, so it was me being the translator all holiday! It was great! Should have seen the look of my friends faces, when I walked Spanish. Not only did I have a great time in Spain but the best part was being able to understand and speak Spanish.

Spanish is one of the largest and ever-growing languages out there. It's a great Language to have.
