Acquire the right materials, and make sure that you do not stagnate by talking about these to people who speak the language themselves. If you can, find an interest in the Spanish language and stick to that interest. You may also try writing compositions or writing letters to friends in the new language, even if you just keep these compositions to yourself- that's the way to do it.
