Basic Espanol - Learn it Quickly and Easily

By Noah M. Benjamin

Since you are reading this article, you speak English. I have good news for you: you will have absolutely no problem picking up basic espanol! For most people who are willing to dedicate at least an hour or two a day, they can pick up sufficient basic Spanish in just a week or two.

First, I want to leave a quick message for those of you who know no Spanish at all. Did you know you actually know quite a lot of Spanish? Take a look at this list of words: alergias, cultura, diferente, especial, optimismo, turista. Chances are you understood each and every one of these words: allergies, culture, different, special, optimistic, tourist. Keep in mind, as you're learning Spanish, that the language is very similar to English. This will make your process much easier.

The easiest way to get down basic Spanish is to study grammar rules and know them very well! It is possible to get these down in just one week. This is the "foundation" for Spanish that you will rely on every time you speak.

From there, you simply need to learn vocabulary and try speaking the language. If you know the rules of grammar and simply learn lots of vocabulary, then you will be able to get by in a Spanish speaking country in under a month, I guarantee.

I recommend using Spanish learning software to learn these Spanish basics. The reason I recommend this is simple: if you're starting from little or no Spanish knowledge, you're going to spend months trying to build your foundation. A good piece of Spanish software will speed you through this process, and get you started into learning as much of the language as you want on your own terms.

You can pick up basic Espanol in just a week or two, and become conversational in the language in under two months if you follow the right process. Good luck!
