Learn Spanish Free in Just a Few Weeks

By Noah M. Benjamin

It is very possible to learn Spanish for free. I didn't learn Spanish for free, but it was pretty darn close to it. First, I will let you know how you should NOT learn for free, and then I will let you know about the best FREE methods for learning Spanish.

HOW NOT TO LEARN SPANISH FOR FREE

Many people assume there are great "learn Spanish for free" lessons on the web. In truth, there are not. There are a number of free Spanish lessons online, but I absolutely dare you to try to learn any useful Spanish from them. You will spend lots of your time reading words and their translations, but without any kind of forced lesson plan, you will find that you retain very, very little.

Do not be tempted to search the web for free Spanish language lessons because, although you will find lots of results, I guarantee you will learn very little Spanish from it. Trust me!

HOW TO REALLY LEARN SPANISH FOR FREE

The best way to learn Spanish is to talk to someone else who speaks Spanish. It is best if you have a significant other or a family member who speaks Spanish, since they will be patient with you.

It helps to have a base of knowledge before you get into this. If you can learn basic verb conjugations and sentence structures before doing this, you will find you learn MUCH faster.

However, just sitting and speaking with someone in Spanish for one hour a day will be the best method of learning Spanish for free. The first couple weeks will be rough, but just one month into it you will feel VERY comfortable, I promise!

I built my base of Spanish around language learning software, and while not free, it was very cheap for what it provided me. I saved hours of my time by using inexpensive software and audio learning programs, and then I was able to follow the steps outlined above to mostly learn Spanish for free.

You can teach yourself Spanish quickly and easily, with the right resources. Find out what the top language students use to quickly pick up new languages.
