Learn Spanish on the internet - this is a very recent concept but also a highly effective one. In this article, I will show you how best to spend your time on the internet so you can learn Spanish in the quickest possible time.

Spanish Music Videos

These are just great. Here is what I recommend. Go over to Youtube and search for some Spanish artists. The easiest way is to type in "musica espanola" or search for popular artists such as Celia Cruz, Paluina Rubio and Alejandro Sanz.

Find a video that you really like the beat to. Then search for the lyrics on Google.

Now learn the song. You'll be learning the words not in a list (like in a classroom) but in the context of several sentences which is proven to be the best way to learn and remember words. Not just that but you'll also develop a great, colloquial accent!

Google Translate

Find a Spanish website. The easiest thing to try is a newspaper site like El Pais or El Mundo. Make a note of the URL then visit Google Translate and stick it in and translate the site.

You'll be able to surf the site in English, and if you hover your mouse over a piece of text, you will get a small popup of the original Spanish.

By comparing the Spanish and the English at once, you can learn a great amount of vocabulary - I can highly recommend this method.

Internet Radio

Polyglots (people why enjoy learning languages and speak many) recommend that you expose yourself to Spanish for at least a few minutes every day.

I personally recommend that you listen to Spanish-language internet radio for 10 minutes a day.

Self Study

All of the above advice is great but you still need a core program of studying. Forget about classrooms - the old, traditional way of learning is outdated.
