Their is much controversy as to what the best way to learn to speak the Spanish language is. Well now I can finally say that I have tried both, and their is a clear winner. I kept track of several advantages and disadvantages that went on throughout my course, and frankly taking a local class had 0 advantages over taking an online course.
Advantage one- Price- With a local course, you may end up spending over ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS just on learning one language. Although you may really need to learn Spanish, you do not want to spend this much money on it. With an online program, you will only have to spend a small fraction of this outrageous price.
Advantage two- lifetime access- If you seriously wanted to become fluent in Spanish, you would choose a course that could seriously last you a lifetime. You see, the second I walked out of my local class, I stopped learning and I had no way to review any old information. With an online program, you will be able to review anything that you would like by simply logging onto your computer!
Advantage three- Accents- I'm not sure about you, but I find it hard to learn from a teacher that can barely even speak English. You will have to constantly interrupt and get information re-told, which will eventually cause frustration throughout the class. But, with an online program everything is taught by true Americans that speak clean, clear English.
Choosing the right program can also play a huge role in the quality of your education.
